AFROPUNK x Target “Black Beyond Measure” Solution Sessions: Thought-provoking conversations covering topics such as Uplifting our Communities Building, Black Businesses, Art and Education, Activism Through Art, Black Faces in Outdoor Spaces, Prioritizing Self Care, and Mental Health.

AFROPUNK BROOKLYN makes it's first return since 2019, recruiting headliners The Roots and Burna Boy. A celebration of Black joy and a testament to the resilience of the Brooklyn community, AFROPUNK touches down in Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn on September 10th and 11th.

AFROPUNK's widening array of live events and experiences aim to build community through joyous expression, thought-provoking discussion, and celebratory musical performances. Welcome to Planet AFROPUNK Live: Minneapolis, the first-ever AFROPUNK live experience in the Midwest.

AFROPUNK is excited to announce the first ever Planet AFROPUNK Live Experience in Miami taking place from May 20-May 22 at The Urban, which is in the historic Overtown neighborhood.

UNCONTAINED presented by Target is the music journey of 5 dynamic black women performers whose style, vibe and attitude represents the dynamic unapologetic attitude that is AFROPUNK.

PLANET AFROPUNK will be a culmination of the triumph of the human will in 2021, it will be a celebration of how we were able to pick ourselves up and celebrate US!

AFROPUNK Joburg will bring together the vibrancy of a limited LIVE audience with the hyper connectivity of a larger digital family to celebrate New Year’s Eve in a huge global spectacular.

New Heritage

New Heritage, originally founded in 1988 by fashion designers Cynthia Belinda Wells Jones & Rodney Jones, was a popular street wear brand in the 90's. Known for its bold hand rendered abstract motifs on sweat gear t-shirts and snap hats. New Heritage showcased appreciation of African American culture and promoted Black Awareness. New Heritage was featured on several 90's television shows and movies such as Fresh Prince of Belair, A Different World, Living Color and worn by several 90's celebrity legends such as Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Sinbad, Wayans Brothers and the list continues. Tamira Wells the niece of the founders relaunched the brand to pay homage and continue their legacy.
